Generating Alpha from Job Listings

LinkUp is the leader in sourcing data on labor demand for investors requiring the most accurate and timely information from employer job listings. Because listings indicate intent to hire, job listings are a high-frequency indicator of forward-looking employer plans for their workforce needs.

The LinkUp dataset coupled with Exabel software enables an enormous number of possible investment strategies. Upon testing various models, we found that using signals derived from LinkUp job listings data can add potentially 2% to 5% of alpha annually.
