Anticipating Technology Convergence with Online Job Postings Data

Traditional foresight methods for analyzing technology convergence primarily rely on patents, often with limited predictive power. This research proposes a novel approach using online job postings data to anticipate technology convergence, particularly in the AI field. We outline our research design, including a keyword-based analysis of job postings and a novel interpretation approach to differentiate between fusion and convergence dynamics.
