LinkUp's September 2023 JOLTS Forecast

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) calculates the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) on the last business day of the month and releases their monthly job openings usually about a month later. So, on October 3rd, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported 9.61 million job openings in its August JOLTS data.

On November 1st, 2023, the BLS will release its Job Opening data for September. LinkUp’s job listings data, sourced directly from company websites in August and September, enables faster estimates of JOLTS. Our job data indicates a decline.

LinkUp’s September JOLTS forecast is 9.48 million.
