LinkUp's August 2023 JOLTS Forecast

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) calculates the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) on the last business day of the month and releases their monthly job openings usually about a month later. So, on August 29th, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported 8.83 million job openings in its July JOLTS data.

On October 3rd, 2023, the BLS will release its Job Opening data for August. LinkUp’s job listings data, sourced directly from company websites in June and July, enables faster estimates of JOLTS. Our job data indicates a decline following the trend of the last 3 months.

LinkUp’s August JOLTS forecast is 8.67 million.
